Play without limits
If Family View is active, follow the next step to disable Steam Cloud and Remote Play.
Download the game and, after the download finishes and BEFORE starting the game, set Steam to OFFLINE mode. This will ensure Remote Play and Steam Cloud are disabled by cutting the connection to Steam.
Common problems and solutions
PIN / Family View active?
If the account has Family View active and you can't access Steam settings, go straight to step 3 in the instructions above: install the game, set Steam to OFFLINE mode, and start the game.
Login error?
- Close Steam completely.
- Download and enable a free VPN (suggestions: Proton VPN, Nord VPN, Hotspot Shield).
- Start Steam and log into the account. If it doesn't work at first, try different countries until one works.
Error message when opening the game
Some games have DENUVO anti-sharing protection. If there's an access limit, wait 24 hours for the limit to reset.
Game asking to open in online mode
If you need to start in online mode, do so and as soon as the game opens, disable your internet or create a Windows Firewall rule to block the connection to Steam.
How to keep downloading the game in the background
Even after the account closes, logs out, or you get disconnected:
- In the top left corner, click "View".
- Click "Big Picture mode".
- Go to the downloads tab and leave it open. The download will continue even if you get disconnected from the account.
Install or Play option not showing?
Click the dropdown arrow and click "Play on this computer".
Account usage
Account use is exclusive to computers. Some accounts have Steam Family Lock, and the library can only be accessed from a computer.
About DENUVO games
What is DENUVO?
DENUVO is the system some developers use to protect the game against cracking. It's not an account feature; it's built into the game itself.
What does this affect in the game?
DENUVO games have a limit of 5 daily activations to allow the game to be played in offline mode.
Will I need to activate daily?
No. After activating once, you can play offline for 1 week or more. After that, you need to activate again; there's no extra charge.
How is this activation done?
You need to launch the game once while online, then close the game; after that, it's activated.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change the account password?
To keep the account stable, do not try to change the password or other details. If we detect an attempt to change them, you may lose access without notice.
I noticed other people using the same account. Is that normal?
Yes, the account is shared. However, you can play without limits or interruptions if you follow the instructions on this page.
My game isn't saving. What should I do?
Make sure you've disabled Steam Cloud or set Steam to OFFLINE mode BEFORE starting the game. That way Steam loses its internet connection and saves stay on your PC, not in the cloud. If you're sure you're following the steps and it's still not saving, the issue is likely with the game (corrupted save).
My game is crashing. What should I do?
Check if your PC meets the game's minimum requirements. If it does, try updating your graphics card drivers. Remember: our warranty and support cover Steam account issues. Hardware or software problems on your PC are outside our support scope.
